Getting started

• Setting up a church: create an account, choose Start a new church, and the setup guide walks you through your room's layout, your first service and inviting your team.
• Joining your church: ask your church's owner for a join code — the usher code to count, or the viewer code to see the reports (owners find both in Settings) — then choose Join my church with a code.
• Roles: owners set things up and manage the team; ushers count; viewers see reports. An owner can change anyone's role in Settings › People.

Signing in

• Sign in with your email and password, with Google, or — on iPhone and iPad — with Apple. Use the same way each time: if you made your account with an email and password, sign in with those.
• Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a link.
• Removed from a church, or joined the wrong one? Sign in and enter the right church's join code.

Parking alerts on your phone

When a church uses the parking heads-up, owners and ushers can have their phone buzz when the parking team sends one. In the iPhone or Android app: Settings › Parking alerts › On this phone, then allow notifications. Nothing arriving? Check notifications are on for PewPin in your phone's own settings. Alerts never include names.

Plans

Counting, ushers and recent reports are free. Some features — trends, older reports, CSV and printing, visitor names and the parking heads-up — come with a church's paid plan, which the church's owner manages on pewpin.app. Nothing is ever deleted because of the plan.

Deleting your account

In the app or on the website: Settings › Delete account. What happens to your church and its records is explained under Deleting your account in our Privacy Policy. You can also ask us to delete your account by email, from the address on the account.

What PewPin is not

PewPin counts attendance. It is not a child check-in, safeguarding, fire-safety or evacuation system — please don't rely on it as one. See our Terms of Service.
